EasyBCD is widely used to create and manage "Portable Entries," which allow you to boot into various image types without installing a full operating system on a new partition.

EasyBCD Portable is a lightweight, portable edition of EasyBCD (a Windows bootloader/BCD editor) that you can run from a USB stick without installing. It helps you manage and edit the Windows Boot Configuration Data (BCD), add or remove boot entries, and set up multi-boot between Windows versions and other OSes.
