If HWID fails, MAS 1.5 falls back to the classic KMS client setup. It sets up a GenuineTicket.xml and redirects activation requests to a third-party KMS server emulator. Unlike old KMS tools that required local server emulation (which antivirus hates), MAS uses publicly available online servers.
