Shot in soft, golden-hour tones with minimal set dressing, New Passions looks like a European indie romance. The sound design (rain against a window, distant city hum) does a lot of the emotional work. NubileFilms’ 2024 content has noticeably improved audio clarity, and this short benefits from it.
