No. The x16-9607 is a 40-pin eDP cable designed for 1080p (FHD) signals. 4K screens require a 40-pin but with a different pinout and higher bandwidth. It will not work.
Power off the laptop. Disconnect the charger. from the motherboard. The eDP cable carries voltage for the backlight; working with it while the battery is connected is a guaranteed way to kill your motherboard.
