Pinay Highschool Student Boso Nagfifinger S !full! Jun 2026

Boso grew up in a modest, multigenerational household where the values of (smooth interpersonal relations) and “pagkakaisa” (solidarity) were lived daily. Her mother’s classroom stories sparked an early fascination with language and literature, while her father’s field trips to construction sites nurtured an interest in how things are built and function. The family’s limited but steady income meant that every educational opportunity—scholarships, school supplies, internet access—was treasured and maximized.

“Learning isn’t just about memorizing facts; it’s about asking the right questions and using those answers to uplift others.” Pinay Highschool Student Boso Nagfifinger S

To turn this vision into reality, Boso plans to apply for the Department of Science and Technology’s (DOST) scholarship program, which supports academically outstanding yet financially needy students. She has already begun preparing for the entrance exam, dedicating early mornings to practice tests and reviewing past scholarship essays. Boso grew up in a modest, multigenerational household
