Inspired by the guide, Valeria did her project differently. While her classmates designed apps to order pizza, she mapped the tequio system of the village: who repaired the water pump, who knew the herbal remedy for coughs, who remembered the songs for the corn harvest. She called it "The Human Mesh Network."
