Mmd Excellent - Shadow

Never use pure black ( 0,0,0 ). Instead, use a dark desaturated blue or brown. For example: R=20, G=20, B=35 . This mimics ambient occlusion and makes shadows look natural.

The ground must accept shadows. In MMD, you usually use a null ground or a specialized floor model. Ensure the model is set to receive shadows. Check the panel: mmd excellent shadow

Under the "ShadowMap" tab, you will see your models listed. You may need to apply specific .fx files included in the Excellent Shadow folder to these models to enable the enhanced depth. Never use pure black ( 0,0,0 )

While MMD's default shadows can look pixelated or "jumpy" during movement, ExcellentShadow introduces a higher-resolution shadow map and advanced filtering. This mimics ambient occlusion and makes shadows look natural

Open your MMD project and ensure your models and motion are loaded.

: You can adjust the intensity and "darkness" of the shadows by changing the (Size) value in the accessory manipulation panel.
