Best possible hand: of the same suit = 31 (called a "31" or "Blitz").

Instead of drawing and discarding on your turn, you "knock" on the table to indicate you are satisfied with your hand.

Only cards of the same suit can be added together. A rare exception is a "three-of-a-kind" (e.g., three 8s), which is worth 30 points regardless of suit.
