A popular high school cheerleader, Jennifer (Megan Fox), becomes possessed by a demon and begins prey on her male classmates, while her best friend Needy (Amanda Seyfried) tries to stop her.

The film revolves around the story of two high school best friends, Jennifer Check (played by Megan Fox) and Anita "Needy" Lesnicki (played by Amanda Seyfried). Jennifer is a popular cheerleader, while Needy is an outcast. After a night at a local bar, Jennifer and Needy get into an accident. As they try to find help, they stumble upon a Native American reservation where a Satanic cult is performing a ritual. The cult sacrifices Jennifer, bathing her in the blood of an Indian, which turns her into a demon.

As Jennifer starts to terrorize their hometown, Needy sets out to stop her.
