Download: Go to the official NCH Software website. Look for Express Scribe (do not click "Express Scribe Pro" if it asks for payment). Install: Run the installer. License Selection: During installation, you will see a screen asking for a license key.
Click "Continue as Free Basic Version" (or "Skip" / "Continue Unlicensed" depending on the version). Do not enter a key. Entering a Pro key will lock you out of the free mode.
