As a transgender person, my journey of self-discovery has been a winding road. Growing up, I struggled to reconcile my assigned sex at birth with my internal sense of identity. It wasn't until I began to explore my feelings and emotions that I started to understand my true self. The term "tranny" has been a part of my lexicon, but I acknowledge that it can be perceived as stigmatizing or derogatory by some. I use it here as a way to reclaim and reframe my experience, highlighting the importance of self-identification and autonomy.
